I love every year that I go, the panels, the con itself and the staff are all wonderful! The venderhal this year was top notch! I feel that the vendors are starting to see that we are more than willing to pay for plushies, pillows and higher end merch as well as the smaller stuff.
Where I am saddened by the lower numbers of turn out, I am proud of how much we raised at the charity auction! 32k+ with 2k less people than the year before! I have been saying it forever now, we are not dying, we are CONDENSING! Every year there are fewer and fewer bronies who can justify coming, but the ones that do show up, pull the weight for everyone else. It is one of the things that I love about this fandom.
Loves: the staff, the food (finally some good food!), vendor hall, the love we all share and HALL OF FREAKING CHAOS!!!
I did not make it to Bronypalooza, but I had heard a rumor that it was largely EDM oriented. Where as I love EDM myself, I also Love people like Aviators and Prince Whateverer. They are the ones that helped kindle my passion for this fandom with their dedication and emotion evoking music that they made. So to her that Aviators was booted from the line up was really saddening and made me not so bummed out over missing it.
Ready for next year, hopefully Bronypalooza will do better.
