It is always super amazing to me that you guys provide a well-equipped photobooth! Im very happy that you put it in a high-traffic area this year, I remember it was downstairs last year and I don't think nearly as many people saw it or really knew what it was about.
This was my first year using the cosplay lounge, which was fantastic. I only needed to go in to remove parts of my wig and take a headache-break, but while I was there I was able to make some adjustments and snip some loose threads (oops), It was really impressive
This was also my first year competing in the hall cosplay contest, which I greatly enjoyed. I don't really have a frame of reference other than past Bronycon years where it was just 'everyone line up for hours and walk the stage.' The old format actually fueled my decision to skip two years of Bronycon costume contests, but seeing the new format last year encouraged me to try it again. You guys raised the bar for the quality expectations of the contest, but didn't make it a long and tortuous process to participate in, which is amazing.
I am pleased to see that even with the ups and downs regarding attendance and space, the convention center is still open through the night for shenanigans. It was a bummer to be ousted from the convention center immediately following closing ceremonies (in the middle of a paid photoshoot) but oh well~ now I know
