Hey Guys!

I am thinking of coming next year to Bronycon, and possibly want to volunteer.

I have sent an email to the Info @ bronycon.org but have yet had a reply and I need to start planning as I need to require a visa first.

I do know you are busy people with real life stuff, but I sent this email over 2 weeks ago ! can provide my email address privately if needed!

Hope you guys can help

Oh ok. When I tweeted earlier in the year it said you can help with Visa applications.

I emailed as I have been made aware that it could take up to 6 months hence why I am planning now and would like to see if I can help with a letter of some sort for the visa application, to be prepared incase it takes 6 months.

If you're only coming for a week or 2 a Visa isn't required. You would only need a passport. Visa's are used for staying for extended periods of time.
However, If you meant to say work permit I'm not sure how that would work. There are alot of details that specify if you do or don't need one for volunteer work.

PS. I'm not staff. I'm only saying what I DO know.

We've been in the middle of electing a new chair and department heads.

Does that mean the convention will change a bit, or will the staff try to keep it how it has been recently?

Our chair from 2017 didn't leave. Jenna is returning for 2018.

I guess I should clarify that elections are held every year, not only when a chair steps down.
