The whole southern part of the light rail system is supposed to be closed for the next two weeks. That includes anything south of Patapsco station. These will be served by bus. However, in checking the light rail's website, it would appear that nothing is running out of Patapsco either but from Cherry Hill (the next station north on the line). See site: http://www.mtanexttrain.net/lata.mta.publicsite/ or https://mta.maryland.gov/sites/default/files/light-rail.jpg.
I'm sure they will have employees or signs or something on site to direct riders where they need to go.
We arrived at BWI this morning and decided not to deal with the bus/train deal. We took a Lyft from BWI to the Hilton and it was $21. Totally worth it.
Huh. So what are the alternate travel options from BWI? Other than a $30 taxi.
Going to be arriving at BWI sometime around 8:30am Friday morning.
You may just have to take a normal taxi, or deal with the outage. It's hard to get a Lyft or Uber in rush hour and you need to get lucky.
Anypony landing in the airport around 11:15 tomorrow and want to split a taxi? =)
