So, just out of curiosity, how's everyone's con going? We've been coming for six years and I won't go into detail, but the con isn't impressing. What do you all think?
First day felt like staff had no idea what they were doing. 2nd day was a lot better.
What is with closing the halls after all seats are filled? In the past you were always able to stand on the sides or back if you wanted. Everything seems really unorganized, but I do think Friday was better than Thursday. I guess today will be the real test!
Maximum occupancy due to the fire marshal. Every room has a Max limit; it's not displayed but it exists. It's why they have a person running a clicker at the Hall of Moon and Stars
Okay, I'm starting to go from unimpressed to annoyed. They've gone back to not allowing people to line up for autographs until 'an hour before signing' to 'prevent stampedes' but that just CAUSES stampeding...
Don't forget that compared to 2018, they're dealing with twice the attendees, twice the content demands, but half the space. It's a rough organisation process.
So anyone know why the My Little Assassin game kinda vanished?
Definitely got the distinct impression that they severely underestimated how many people would show up. It's been a recurring theme with most of the events I attended.
